YardHawk is a B2B platform where equipment rental companies ("Customers") use our software to manage their operations. Information is primarily collected by and for our Customers:

• Business Contact Information: Names, email addresses, phone numbers of yard staff and rental customers
• Operational Data: Equipment details, rental contracts, pull tag assignments, damage assessments
• Communication Preferences: SMS and notification preferences

Automatically Collected Information

• Usage Data: Log data, IP addresses, browser type, device information
• SMS Delivery Data: Message delivery status, timestamps (but not message content)
• Performance Data: Application performance metrics, error logs

Data entered into YardHawk by a Customer organization belongs to that organization. They have access to all data related to their operations and users.

• Hosting (Vercel/Supabase): Application data for infrastructure
• Analytics: Anonymized usage data for service improvement

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or to protect our rights and safety.

• SMS Logs: Retained for 90 days for troubleshooting and compliance
• Audit Logs: Retained for 1 year for security and compliance
• After Account Closure: Data deleted within 30 days unless legally required
